Homework Policy

For

8th Grade American History

Students are expected to complete homework on time.  They should have put their best effort into completely answering each question.

If a student does not have a homework assignment in class or if the assignment was not completed with effort, the assignment will be considered late and will be graded at 60% of the original assignment.

Students missing multiple assignments may be assigned to Z.A.P (Zeroes Aren’t Permitted) after school from 2:30 to 3:30.

Fourth quarter, no late work will be accepted.

Students who have turned in an assignment on time with effort, including tests, but are not satisfied with their percentage can ask for additional assignments to bring up their grade.  The student is responsible to ask to bring up a grade with an alternative assignment.
